For a second year, MD One Ventures is delighted to have partnered with Beauhurst to publish the 2024 UK Defence Technology sector report.

This year's report has focussed on 384 high-growth companies in the UK that are developing technologies with defence applications, or have received funding from organisations with a focus on the security and defence sectors.
Alongside these core defence tech companies, this report delves into the “dual-use” aspects of defence technology- companies with offerings that can serve both military and civilian uses, operating across a range of sectors adjacent to traditional defence technology, these dual use companies are the core focus of MD One's investment thesis. Whilst private investment has fallen in the core industry of defence technology, our report shows the relative resilience of investment in these dual-use sectors.
